    The first live event of the year "Live Meeting with Marc Carena, Managing Director McDonald's Russia" took place in Moscow at the Moscow branch of Hamburger University on April 20, 2021. The event featured Marc Carena, Managing Director McDonald's Russia; Nathan Hunt, CERBA Founder and CERBA Moscow Chairman; Ekaterina Serebrenikova, Chief People Officer, McDonald’s Russia; Natalia Zygmont, Training Director, McDonald’s Russia. The discussion was centered around McDonald’s in Russia, its history, contribution to the development of the Russian economy, its big accent on the working process, staff training, and its focus on charity activities. After the main part of the event was over, guests took part in a tour around Hamburger University.

    The event received extremely positive feedback from the participations who appreciated to meet face to face, as well as to learn a lot of new information about McDonald’s business model and corporate process.

    VANCOUVER, BC, April 19, 2021 — Today, the provincial government announced that it will be extending its provincial health orders that came into effect on March 29, 2021 at 11.59pm, for another five weeks until midnight on May 25, 2021, and that include:

    • The variance allowing indoor religious gatherings and worship services between March 28, 2021 and May 13, 2021 is suspended.
    • Indoor low intensity group exercise classes are cancelled.
    • Restaurants, pubs and bars are closed for indoor dining. Outdoor patio seating and take-out or delivery is allowed.
    • Whistler Blackcomb ski resort is closed.
    • Workplaces with a COVID-19 exposure may be ordered to close for a minimum of 10 days.

    In addition, to curb transmission across the province over the coming weeks, non-essential travel will be limited to within health authorities. Solicitor General Mike Farnworth is expected to release details of a supporting order on Friday, April 23, 2021.

    Please be informed that based on the decision (Russian language) of the governmental Operational staff for the prevention of importing and spreading of the new coronavirus infection the term of suspension of flights between Russia and UK has been extended until June 1, 2021 inclusive.

    In addition, this is to remind you that all persons arriving in Russia from the UK are subject to 14-day self-isolation requirement.

    Dear CERBA Members and Partners,

    Please be informed that the Russian government has officially published the Decree No. 814-r dated 31.03.2021 that lifts the restrictions on entry for citizens and permanent residents of Germany, Syria, Uzbekistan, Tadzhikistan, Venezuela and Sri Lanka.

    As reported earlier, Russia resumed passenger flights from these countries on 1 April 2021.

    We would like to remind you that aforementioned foreign nationals will be allowed though the Russian border only if they take a direct flight from the country of their citizenship or permanent residence.

    According to the information kindly provided by CERBA Corporate Member – Intermark Relocation, please be informed that the governmental Operational staff for the prevention of importing and spreading of the new coronavirus infection has decided to resume air traffic with Germany, Syria, Uzbekistan, Tadzhikistan, Venezuela and Sri Lanka.

    The decision will take effect on 1 April 2021.

    What are the changes?

    The list of countries whose citizens and residents are allowed to enter the Russian Federation through air checkpoints now includes 30 countries:

    - Kyrgyzstan
    - Republic of Korea

    Russian and foreign citizens who travel from Russia to the listed countries or vice versa.

    We expect that these countries will also be included in the list of states exempted from entry restrictions for citizens and permanent residents who travel by direct flights from the respective countries. However, the relevant governmental decree has not been published yet.
